Having been fortunate enough to visit India, and be embraced by the generous culture of its people, this brand was created as a way to celebrate the Nehru jacket, bringing the vibrant colours, skilful block printing, and timeless craft to a new audience. Our hope is that we are able to convey the extraordinary craftsmanship and the creativity that we have been so inspired by.

  • This team have been working with the tailors for the last four years! After the Covid19 Pandemic, many tailors lost their jobs in metro cities and had to move back to their villages!

This dedicated group of highly skilled tailors, are each adept at every stage of the process, from cutting the fabric to performing the final checks. We are immensely grateful to have such an exceptional team, whose craftsmanship and dedication continually inspire us.

JOAH Jackets was born from our love of colour and craft, and with a focus for celebrating Indian culture. Our journey began in Jaipur, India, where we met our incredibly talented tailors. The wellbeing of our artisans is essential to us. We are committed to upholding ethical practices, that is why we work closely with our team to ensure their continued success, whist keeping the beautiful craft of block printing alive.
